Rapper Soulja Boy has blown a staggering $3 million on building up his collection of gold jewelry in the three years since finding fame.
The star admits he spends a big chunk of his earnings on the accessories because he's convinced it's a smart investment.
He tells MTV, "Gold is the best thing going, honestly...All of my jewelry together...gold is where it's at."
And the 20 year old insists he keeps his pricey jewels safely stored away: "It's heavily secured...I keep my jewelry locked up, I keep it on watch. Whenever I select a piece...I put everything else up."

Rapper Soulja Boy has launched an online hunt for a woman who vanished from Twitter.com after messaging him.
The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker was delighted to receive a note from an attractive female on the microblogging site, but he can't retrieve her details to contact her in response.
And the star is urging the mystery woman to send him another message so he can reply.
In a series of posts on the site, he writes, "Lookin for this girl on twitter page. I can't find her all I remember (is) she had a nice smile on her default (picture). Message me! I should have followed her when I had the chance, who knows when she gonna (message) me again! I remember the default tho. Big smile."

Soulja Boy Slams Cocaine Fiend Rumors

Rapper Soulja Boy has taken to Twitter.com to dismiss an alleged girlfriend's reports he's a cocaine fiend.
Self-proclaimed hip-hop groupie Kat Stacks filmed herself wandering around an apartment and claimed her hip-hop lover was taking a shower in another room as she revealed lines of cocaine he'd prepared on a table.
She also shot footage of her sitting in a sports car she claimed belonged to Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, and filmed herself allegedly speaking with the Superman hit-maker on the phone.
The films were posted online at the beginning of the week, and have now prompted the star to respond via Twitter.
He's particularly upset about the cocaine claims, but doesn't refute Stacks' claims he's dating her.  He tweets, "God knows I didn't do that (cocaine). that's all that matters."

Soulja Boy Not Engaged To Model Rosa Acosta

Teenage rapper Soulja Boy Tell'Em has dismissed reports he's engaged to video vixen Rosa Acosta - after she was pictured with the star wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
Reports of an engagement were sparked when the actress/model posted photos of the pair online following a dinner date in Los Angeles with the "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" hitmaker, real name DeAndre Ramone Way.
However, a representative for Soulja Boy has denied the claims, while Acosta's manager Charles Garner insists the beauty is definitely single and claims the ring was a gift from her mother.
Garner tells MTV.com, "So the story is that the proposal is false. Miss Acosta is still very much single. She was in L.A. filming the Chris Brown video with several other models. Soulja Boy was in L.A. He's been with friends with Rosa for a while and asked if she and the other girls wanted to go to dinner. So he took her and four other girls to dinner, (during) which some playful pictures were taken as 'behind the scenes' for Miss Acosta's website. The ring she has on her finger is a ring that was given to her by her mother about three or four years ago and it was not given to her by Soulja Boy. The picture that everyone has up is a harmless picture where he's kissing her on the cheek. And there's about four other pictures where you see him at the table with her and the other models and he's hugging everybody."

Police Cancel Soulja Boy Concert Over Crowd Fights

Rapper Soulja Boy was forced to abandon a gig in Washington, D.C. on Saturday when police shut down the event after fights broke out in the crowd.

The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker was due to perform at the Ibiza nightclub, but a mix-up over money halted his performance. And after a series of bust-ups at the door, cops descended on the venue and ordered organizers to axe the show.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, the rapper writes, "I'm so sorry to disappoint my DC fans but the promoters did not have all the money. I still tried to perform but I couldn't even get inside!"

"I tried to perform for free! But it was (sic) so many fights at the side door that the police shut it down! My apologies I will be back!"

Rap rivals Soulja Boy and Fabolous put their differences aside during a radio interview on Wednesday following a vicious online war of words.

The pair fell out after Fabolous joked on his Twitter.com page about allegations Soulja Boy used cocaine, branding the young hip-hop star Stupid Boy Swag in reference to his hit Pretty Boy Swag. Soulja Boy was left fuming over the post, and fired back at the Trade It All hit-maker in a series of aggressive tweets.
On Tuesday, he wrote, "I will murder that n**ga fab in a freestyle battle he garbage compared to soulja boy (sic). Fab is so mothaf**kin lame he pick the wrong week to beef. Lets see how much his new "EP" sell 1st week (sic). Garbage a** rapper."

However, the pair called a truce during a radio interview with DJ Clue of Power 105 in New York on Wednesday, with Soulja Boy admitting he had taken the joke out of context.
He told DJ Clue, "I thought that he was taking shots at me, when it was just jokes. It was a misunderstanding, a miscommunication."

Fabolous replied, "I know people thought it was going to be a (Filipino boxer Manny) Pacquiao fight, but we sat down like bosses."

MediaTakeOut is reporting that rapper Soulja Boy proposed to model Rosa Acosta some time last week. The website claims that a celebrity friend of Soulja Boy leaked the info.

Soulja Boy has a huge fan base on Twitter that he shares the most minute details of his life with, from new tattoos to remote control Lamborghinis, but it appears the young star is trying to keep this bit of personal information under wraps.

Rosa Acosta is from the Dominican Republic and an accomplished ballerina. She moved to the United states in 2006 to further her modeling career, and has since been featured in music videos from 50 Cent, Mario, Puff Daddy, and Drake.

Soulja Boy recently worked with Chris Brown on Brown's third album "Graffiti," after the two collaborated on Soulja Boy's iSouljaBoyTellem record. "So we worked together and we did a song that I think a lot of people gon' like. It's a smash record. When he put it out, it gon' get a good response," Soulja Boy said at the time.
